Southern Praline Pecan

Cheese Cake Cheeseball Mix

  • Cheeseballs

Mix Together well: 8 oz. cream cheese and 1/4 cup butter (softened).

Add the jar of concentrate and blend well with a mixer.

Chill until firm.  Shape into 1 or 2 balls and roll in chopped pecans.

Must keep refrigerated until served. May also be frozen

Serve with pretzels, graham crackers, fresh fruit etc.

Variations:

      Stir pecans into mixture and shape into tiny balls and serve with a pretzel inserted into each ball.

      Roll balls in graham cracker or crushed cookie crumbs, coconut, powdered sugar and/or cocoa in addition to pecans.

      Add chocolate chips, coconut, crushed pineapple or other fruit drained to mixture.

 

  • Praline Pecan No Bake Freezer Pie

1 Jar Concentrate

1/2 cup included pecans

12 oz. partially thawed Whipped Topping

1 Graham Cracker Crust

 

Gently fold 1 jar of concentrate into 8 oz. partially thawed whipped topping.  Spoon 1/2 of the whipped topping mixture into a graham cracker crust.  Sprinkle 1/2 of the remainder pecans over topping.  Spread remainder of topping mixture over nuts.  Top with remaining 4 oz. whipped topping and nuts.  Freeze  - Cut into wedges and Enjoy!

 

  • Southern Praline Pecan Tassies

1 Jar Concentrate

1 8oz. package cream cheese

2 eggs, beaten

2 tps. vanilla

1 cup margarine

2 cups flour

1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar

1 1/2 cups chopped pecans

 

Combine 1/2 jar concentrate, cream cheese and margarine, mixing well until blended.  Add flour, mix well and chill.  Divide dough into quarters, divide each quarter into 12 balls.  Press each ball onto bottom and side of mini muffin pans.  Combine remainder of concentrate, eggs, brown sugar and vanilla.  Stir in pecans.  Spoon into pastry shells, filling each cup.  Bake at 325, 30 minutes or until pasty is golden brown.  Cool 5 minutes and remove from pans!  Yields 4 dozen

 

                                                                             

 

Southern Pecan Mustard Glaze

  • Outstanding as an hors d'oeuvre when poured over cream cheese and served with crackers

  • Excellent as a glaze on ham, poultry, pork chops, beef etc.  Spread on meat 10 minutes before it is done and baste occasionally in its own juices.  Can be also used as a marinade.

  • Delicious as a condiment to meats such as sliced ham, turkey, etc.  

  • Serve warm as a favorite dressing to spinach salad.
