Mini Vitrine - "Le Theatre des Etoiles"

This fabulous one of a kind art piece from Paris Flea Market  is a beautiful glass fronted,

latch closure, lighted display case.  It is made with an antique turn of the century frame and

 is meant to be a focal point to proudly exhibit your most prized possessions.

Antique lace curtains are draped behind a filigree metal valance and the

floor is laid with grey and ecru striped raw silk.

The interior back wall is covered in heavily beaded c. 1920's silk and the sides have four

"V" banners encrusted with silver bugle beads and rhinestone remnants from an authentic

flapper dress.  Tiny French Bill boards on the interior and exterior add even more charm. 

It is wired and fitted with an elegant chandelier, antique glass pearls, tiny opaline glass florette beads and a center Czech crystal make up this custom light.  A tiny gold crown tops off this most prized piece.  (Chandelier is fitted to bulb for easy replacement.  It uses a standard 7 watt night light bulb.)
